Innovations Waiver

Innovations Waiver Overview

The Innovations Waiver program gives people with intellectual or developmental disabilities choices. You decide how and where you live, including in your own home or community. You can be any age to get long-term services. Medicaid funds the program, and you work with a team to develop your own Person Centered Plan of Care. You decide which personal assistant services you need. Many choices are available. And, some of them include assistive technology, community resources, day supports, individual goods and services, respite care, and supported employment. Your local management entity/managed care organization (LME/MCO) can see if you qualify and help you get started.
