As a customer service support specialist (SDSS), you’ll work on a team to deliver great customer service to people self-directing their care.
In this job, you’ll take on a variety of work. From listening to and resolving customer issues to making sure paychecks are correct. Your job is instrumental in making sure the people we serve stay safe and happy.
There are three levels to being an support specialist. This means you have a chance to advance your position even before entering leadership.

As an adult (over 18 years of age), you’ve completed your high school diploma or high school equivalency (GED).
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and other office procedures and terminology
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to plan and organize daily work to meet deadlines
Competent in the use of Microsoft programs and the Internet
Ability to build positive relationships and communicate with people of diverse backgrounds and abilities
Strong ability to participate on a highly effective team
Effective decision-making skills
