How do I get in-home supports for myself or a loved one?

With self-direction, you have the right to live the life you choose. Everyone’s situation is different. For some, self-direction means receiving full-time support from someone they trust–right in their home and community. For others, it might mean purchasing adaptive equipment or hiring a friend to drive them to get groceries or community events a few times a week. The goal is for you to choose what type of support you want and need.

People choose to self-direct their care for many reasons. GT Independence is here to support your decision. You make all the important choices—like who to hire, which goods and services will make life more manageable, and even how to get around. We help take care of payments and paperwork. And, we are here to answer questions you may have.

You deserve to live the life you choose. GT is here to make that easier.

In Washington, GT Independence works with the WA Cares Fund program.
