Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) Autism Waiver (AU)
The Kansas Autism Waiver (AU) helps young children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) stay at home with their families. The program provides services and support for both children and their caregivers. The waiver is for children ages 0 to 5 who qualify for both Medicaid and the Autism Waiver. The Autism Waiver helps families learn new skills, reduce stress, and get the support they need. Its goal is to help children grow, learn, and be successful at home and in their communities.Autism Waiver (AU) Overview

Talk to your case manager. Tell them that you’re interested in Self-Direction.
If you’re eligible, your case manager will make the referral to GT Independence.
