Fulton County’s Consumer Directed In-Home Services
Through Consumer Directed Care, eligible participants can hire, train, and, if necessary, terminate their caregivers.
In this program, participants serve as the employer of record for any hired staff or services. Participants may seek support of a designated representative, if desired, to ensure care is delivered according to the client’s preferences.
This program is designed to promote autonomy, dignity, and choice—putting control back into the hands of those receiving care.
Who the Fulton County’s Consumer Directed In-Home Services Serves
- People who are at least 60 years of age
- People who are willing to be the employer of record for any hired employee or service.
- People who need in-home and community-based services
