MI Choice Waiver Program Overview
The MI Choice Waiver Program is for adults who are living with disabilities and need the kind of care that is usually found in nursing homes. With this program, you can have skilled nurses come to your home to give you the care you need. You may be able to have other services provided, too. Support for community living, homemaking, personal care, and non-medical transportation may be available. To be eligible, you will need to meet certain criteria.
Who the MI Choice Waiver Program Serves
- Adults aged 65 years or older
- Adults aged 18 or older who are living with disabilities and need nursing-facility level care

- Decide which services you need
- Choose who your caregiver will be, and hire, manage, and even fire them
- Schedule when and where you should get help from your caregiver
- Continue to live a life of your choosing
