MI Health Link Waiver Program Overview

The MI Health Link program gives you a range of health care and services in one package. If you qualify for the program, you can get medical and behavioral care, home and community-based services, medication and transportation. You can also receive nursing home care. Plus, you’ll have help from a care coordinator who will help you create a plan and connect you to the services and supports that are important to you.

Who the MI Health Link Waiver Program Serves

  • Adults aged 21 years or older
  • Michigan residents of certain counties
  • Those enrolled in both Medicaid and Medicare
  • Adults not living in a state-operated veteran’s home
  • Those not currently enrolled in hospice

With the MI Health Link Waiver Program, You [Participants] Can…

  • Get health care and services covered by Medicare and Medicaid 
  • Use one plan and one card for the care you need
  • Have a care coordinator who can help you manage everything you need
  • Avoid co-pays and deductibles on medication covered under the plan

  • Processing payroll and issuing payments to your employees 
  • Assisting with verifying your employee’s citizenship status  
  • Creating and maintaining files 
  • Assisting members with resolving questions and complaints
