Jeremy Gump has been named GT’s new Chief Administrative Officer (CAO). This may be a new role for Jeremy and GT, but he is far from new to the company. Jeremy has been working with us behind the scenes since 2017. He has helped with legal, financial, and administrative issues. Now, Jeremy is joining GT full-time.
Moving Forward at GT
As CAO, Jeremy will oversee many departments and make sure they are all working toward the same goals. He will manage accounting, finance, compliance, quality, facilities, legal, and personnel. He will also assist with regulatory issues and reporting. Jeremy’s new role is tough but critical. He will help GT continue providing the tools and resources participants need while keeping the company running smoothly.
Improving Self-Direction for Everyone
Like so many others at GT, Jeremy is passionate about self-direction. As a contractor for GT, he helped improve areas such as strategy, human resources, processes, and facilities. All while also serving as the Interim-CEO and Chairman of the Board at Sturgis Hospital.
Jeremy is no stranger to rolling up his sleeves and creating great workplaces.
In addition, Jeremy has experience leading consulting projects on a large scale. He also has an extensive background in healthcare and law, bringing an incredible and unique perspective to the GT team. He has a Certificate in Health Law and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Early in his career at Ernst & Young, he helped large academic medical centers grow. Now, he helps GT Independence make self-direction more accessible for people of all ages and abilities.
Keeping Family at the Center
Off the clock, Jeremy enjoys spending time on his family farm with his partner NeColle and their four children. Originally from Sturgis, he is thrilled to work for a company that contributes so much to the community.
