Oregon Agency With Choice Overview
Oregon Agency with Choice gives older adults and people with disabilities more support in managing their in-home care services. Through this program, you can choose who provides your care and help train them to meet your needs.
You share employer responsibilities with a partner agency. While you choose and direct your caregiver, the agency handles tasks such as hiring, background checks, payroll, and required paperwork.
This program helps you stay in control of your services while receiving extra support with employer-related responsibilities.
Agency With Choice Serves
- Oregon residents who are age 65 or older, or adults age 18 and older with a disability
- People with disabilities who qualify for Medicaid long-term services
- Enrolled in the Aged and Physically Disabled Waiver (APD) waiver or the State Plan Personal Care Program (SPCC) and meet the medical and financial requirements for participation in those waivers
