Special Needs Trust

Special Needs Trust Overview

A special needs trust is a legal arrangement that helps a person with a disability to have access to funding without potentially losing the benefits provided by public assistance programs. There are two types of Special Needs Trust. Please contact a Special Needs Trust representative for additional information.

What is Private Pay?

A frail elder or person with a disability who wishes to lead a self-directed lifestyle by hiring their own support staff.

What s a Self-Directed Support lifestyle?

Self-directing your own services and supports allows you choice and control over…

  • What services and supports you need.
  • How you want to have specific tasks completed.
  • When you will receive the services and supports.

With Special Needs Trusts or Private Pay, You Can…

  • Chose who will provide your supports and services
